About this project
Eurasian Watermilfoil has been spreading in Spring Lake. The Spring Lake Community Club has contracted AquaTechnex, LLC to treat the lake this season using ProcellaCOR — a targeted, EPA-approved herbicide safe for fish, wildlife, and people. Our treatment quote is $20,000, and we are raising $22,000 to cover any overages. Any donations in excess of treatment costs will be held in our Invasive Plant Fund. These funds will also help us address the Fragrant Water Lily encroachment this fall — a separate treatment with a quote to come soon. Eurasian Watermilfoil also typically requires multiple treatment rounds over the years, and your contribution will help protect Spring Lake long-term. Questions?
